About the Course

The Writing & Speaking Class is an intensive 15-hour program specifically designed to help students produce high-impact, well-structured responses for IELTS Writing Task 1 & Task 2, as well as Speaking Parts 1, 2, and 3.

This course provides a comprehensive and strategic approach to mastering the four key assessment criteria used by IELTS examiners: Task Achievement/Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. Students will learn how to organise ideas logically, develop arguments critically, and present responses in a clear, coherent, and persuasive manner.

For the Writing section, participants will be guided step-by-step on how to:

  • Analyse different types of Task 1 visuals (graphs, charts, maps, processes) accurately

  • Structure high-scoring Task 2 essays for various question types (opinion, discussion, problem-solution, advantages & disadvantages, double questions)

  • Develop relevant and well-supported ideas

  • Avoid common grammar and vocabulary mistakes

  • Use advanced linking devices and academic vocabulary naturally

For the Speaking section, the program focuses on building fluency, confidence, and spontaneity. Students will practice:

  • Delivering extended answers with clear structure

  • Expanding ideas naturally without memorisation

  • Developing critical thinking for Part 3 discussions

  • Using a wide range of vocabulary and grammatical structures

  • Improving pronunciation, intonation, and coherence

Throughout the course, students will receive detailed feedback, practical strategies, model answers, and guided practice to ensure measurable improvement. By the end of the program, participants will be equipped with the skills, confidence, and exam strategies necessary to achieve their target band score.

Learning Method

Our learning method is strategic, interactive, and performance-based.

Rather than simply giving topics to practice, we:

  • Break down question types and scoring criteria

  • Teach structured frameworks for answering

  • Guide students through idea generation techniques

  • Provide live correction and improvement feedback

  • Conduct simulated speaking sessions

Students actively practice in every session. Each task is followed by analysis and improvement suggestions, ensuring continuous progress.

We focus on how to think, how to structure, and how to deliver — not just what to write or say.

Outline of the Materials

Writing Section

Learn how to analyse visuals or letter prompts accurately, identify key features, write clear overviews, and present information logically without unnecessary details.

Master the structure and strategy for each question type, develop strong arguments, and ensure your response fully addresses the task.

Practice writing clear thesis statements, effective paraphrasing, and concise conclusions that reinforce your main ideas.

Improve logical flow using appropriate linking devices, referencing, and smooth transitions between ideas and paragraphs.

Learn how to build focused body paragraphs with clear topic sentences, explanations, and relevant examples.

Develop precise academic vocabulary, improve paraphrasing skills, and avoid repetition or unnatural word choices.

Identify frequent writing errors and apply practical strategies to move from Band 6 to Band 7+.

 Speaking Section

Learn how to extend answers naturally with clear structure and relevant details.

Organise your long-turn response using a clear beginning, logical development, and a natural closing. Focus on structuring ideas effectively, adding relevant details, and maintaining coherence throughout the 2-minute talk.

Develop deeper, more analytical answers by presenting balanced viewpoints, logical reasoning, and relevant real-life examples. Students will learn how to handle abstract and challenging questions with confidence.

Build smoother speech flow by reducing hesitation, improving linking between ideas, and refining natural intonation patterns. Special attention is given to clarity, word stress, and overall intelligibility.

Enhance lexical range by using flexible, topic-relevant vocabulary accurately and appropriately. Emphasis is placed on sounding natural and confident rather than memorising overly complex expressions.

Learn techniques to respond spontaneously and authentically while maintaining structure. Students will practice adapting answers naturally to different question variations without sounding scripted.
